Scarlet by Ted D'Ottavio

Scarlet Sinclair is a born and bred New York City native. Coming from a long line of gypsies, cabaret entertainers and creative folk, show business and performing has been in her blood for generations. Her mother was a choreographer and unforgettable personality. Her father was a band leader in the NYC Turkish nightclub scene of the 80s. It was there that she first fell in love with cabaret performance and was mesmerized by the lights, music and costumes of the Middle Eastern dancers.

Bringing her own brand of uniqueness to the stage, Scarlet is a delicious concoction of flavors ranging from classic burlesque and Hollywood glamour, old school blues and rockabilly, showing a hint of her heritage through scandalous shimmies that would make any Sultan blush.

Miss Sinclair recently won the Golden Pastie Award at the 2005 NY Burlesque Festival for "Hottest Freshman." She has also travelled to the Mojave Desert to compete in the Miss Exotic World Competition for Best Newcomer.

You can see Scarlet perform on the stages of Le Scandal, The Slipper Room, Starshine Burlesque, Fez, Sideshows by the Seashore in Coney Island, Galapagos and many more. A sultry creature of the nightlife, you might just stumble across Scarlet creating a scandalous scene in a NYC cabaret on any given night.
